Kickoff meeting of the project Embedding COVID-19 preparedness into local disaster risk reduction was successfully concluded with seven participants from both universities. Key areas discussed in the meeting included, Introduction to Huddersfield and Andalas teams, Introduction to the project/ background and rationale, Project objectives and planned activities, Project plan/ milestones, Project finance and administration and finally the short term actions.
