On 16th February 2022, Dr. Harkunti Rahayu met with Alok Sharma, President of the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference, and His Excellency, Owen Jenkins, British Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia.

Professor Richard Haigh, University of Huddersfield, spoke to UK Research and Innovation to produce a short YouTube clip on his work on climate change and disaster risk in Indoensia. This included the current project's work in Jakarta and Bandung.

Professor Haigh was selected for a spotlight interview under the theme “Seascapes and coastal areas" alongside a representative from the British Council/ Newton Fund.
